The brief
A dated 1980s kitchen tucked away from the rest of the house, with a separate dining room that was almost never used.
Kitchen installation
Two ground floor rooms combined into one kitchen and family space around a 3m island.

A dated 1980s kitchen tucked away from the rest of the house, with a separate dining room that was almost never used.
We removed the wall between the two rooms onto a concealed steel, moved the services to the new island position and fitted the client's chosen shaker cabinetry.
The island needed waste, water and power in a solid floor, so drainage runs were set out and cast in before the screed went down.
